Mmmm. Donuts.

K, finally got my ass off gaming to post this. Last sunday i went to a short trip to Malaysia (JB, etc) with my parents. We were on a tour and we went around shopping and eating. Took a few pictures, and ate donuts. Sorry about the picture quality, i don't have a digicam, most of these are taken with my HP.

We took a coach at 630am and we headed off from bukit merah. We stopped at JB to have lunch, nothing special, then we headed off to a shopping mall. It was freaking huge. Like, 5x Wisma or something. But sadly, there was nothing special inside, just the same old malls and shops that we see around Singapore.

So much space, so little things.
So big, but nothing.

Walked around abit, and i chanced upon a bit of nostalgia... Dunkin Donuts! I still remember as a kid i used to buy these by the truckloads, eating them as i go home. Too bad they don't exist in Singapore anymore, i bought a few with my family, and we shared, and they still tasted as awesome as ever. We bought more and ate them the whole day.

Mmmm. Donuts.

DONUTS FTW.
Mmmm. Donuts.

We then went to Desaru fruit farm. Again, i don't really get the point of going there because we don't even get to go into the farm, we just get to go into the souvenir shop. So all the aunties got conned into buying fruits and stuff, and i chanced upon another tour group listening into a talk. They were actually peddling Tongkat Ali. I'm not kidding. They claimed it had special medicinal properties, but i think the only place it helps increase produduction is.. heh.

Tonkat Ali FTW.
Tongkat Ali FTW.

Then we went to eat seafood at some random restaurant. The food was damn nice. So nice that i didn't take any pictures of it.

Mmm. Seafood.

Then came to the culmination of the whole trip, fireflies. After the dinner, we sat on a long boat ride into a random river to see fireflies. I couldn't take any pictures of the fireflies because it was too damn dark, but i do however have nice sunset pictures. It was a great experience, but i felt it was abit boring. I didnt even get to see a firefly up close, although some did fly past me.

Prepating for the plunge?

Prep.

Going on the boat.

Sunset.

Sunset. Bats.

Sunrise, Sunset.

After the whole day, we sat a 4 hour long coach ride home.

The view from my seat.
